Sinopsis
Poe is a feral kitten looking for a witch to adopt him. Little does he know that witches look for cats with specific characteristics. And he doesn't fit them. Alice, a girl who studies at the Wandermere Academy of Witches, is desperate to find a familiar and in her most dangerous attempt to summon one, she is injured and that is how Poe enters her life.
About the project
Poe is a 2D animation short film project were I worked as a producer being in charge of de pipeline, assignments, documentation, promotional campaign on social media and also worked on concept art, animation and VFX departments. I worked hard to get our project sponsored by top veterinaries, premium pet food brand Diamond and rescue foundations who shared our message of responsible adoption and animal care awareness. We were nominated for the 2021 Pixelatl!

Most of my contributions in the art department, where for background designs. Some concepts for the city view where further developed by one of our team members and great artist, Jessica Andreassi. Other backgrounds; like the coffee shop "Elixir del amanecer" and the boutique "Las memorias del mañana" were created, polished, cleaned and coloured by myself.

In our animation department, I worked a lot of shots in different stages of the projects such as clean, color, vfx and also animated and lettered the whole credits with the lovely addition of illustrations Diana Pérez created. Working on 2D animation is really challenging since there are lots of details to cover and I can proudly say, I was the top second artist in our team with most overall shots done!
