CBC is a Canadian-based metal service group composed of multiple ventures: CBC Metals, CBC Specialty Metals, and CBC Processing. This project involved a full-scale UX/UI revamp of their website to improve user experience, showcase their services clearly, and reflect their unique visual identity.

The original site had outdated visuals, limited navigation, and lacked key content areas like a blog, industries overview, and client resources. There was also no visual distinction between CBC’s business ventures, making it harder for users to explore offerings relevant to them.
Improve navigation and information architecture for better usability. Introduce new SEO-supporting sections: blog, resources, project gallery, and industries. Create unique design accents and interactive components for each CBC business venture.
UX audit and sitemap restructuring. Redesign of all pages and components with a color system definition for the three brand ventures. Design and content structure for new sections defining improvement goals touchpoints and customizing forms for both operative staff and clients guided quotation.
This redesign was a complete 180° transformation. I restructured the site architecture and navigation to better serve both new and returning users, while introducing new sections to support marketing and SEO goals. The UI was inspired by CBC’s isologo, using geometric cuts, rounded forms, and visual harmony across layouts. Each CBC brand venture was assigned a distinct color palette and identity, helping users understand the company’s structure and offerings with clarity and ease.
+68% estimated crawlability improvement due to structured blog, industries, and resources sections. (SEO audit projections)
Bounce rate expected to decrease by up to 40% on service pages thanks to clarified navigation and visual hierarchy. (Heuristic evaluation + UX standards)
Added 20+ new content entry points (across 4 new sections) to support organic keyword indexing and long-tail search performance. (SEO strategy alignment)
Improved perceived performance and scannability with modular layouts and visual system based on the isologo’s geometry. (User testing feedback & dev inspection)
